What is the Federal PACT Act?

Electronic nicotine delivery systems are now included under the Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act (PACT). Recently, the “Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021” was signed into law on Dec.27,2020 at the federal level. As part of this law, the PACT Act was amended to now include electronic delivery systems (ENDS), in addition to cigarettes, smokeless, and roll-your-own tobacco. The law is intended to prevent online sales to minors and streamline tax compliance.
This act is referred to as the vape mail ban within the vaping industry. All the major privately owned shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx and DHL voluntarily stopped delivery of vape products to residential addresses in
accordance with the PACT Act. The USPS requires a signature of those 21 older.
